Four finalists announced for the Prix du Roman Fnac 2024

The jury for the Prix du Roman Fnac, which is made up of 400 booksellers and 400 members, has shortlisted four of the 30 novels selected by Fnac for this literary season.

The four finalists in the twenty-third edition of the Prix du Roman Fnac are all written by female authors and tell the stories of women confronting their destiny.

  • Les merveilles by Viola Ardone, translated by Laura Brignon – ALBIN MICHEL
  • Badjens by Delphine Minoui – THRESHOLD
  • Les âmes féroces by Marie Vingtras – ÉDITIONS DE L’OLIVIER
  • La Petite Bonne by Bérénice Pichat – LES AVRILS

The winner, who will follow in the footsteps of 2023 laureate Jean-Baptiste Andrea and his novel Veiller sur elle (Watching Over Her; Éditions de L’Iconoclaste), will be announced on the morning of September 24. The award will be presented that evening during a ceremony held at Fnac Ternes.
