Last September 8, the Théatre du Châtelet provided the backdrop for the start of a beautiful story.
On September 8, at a big event at this Parisian theater, Sarah Jollien-Fardel was awarded the twenty-first Prix du Roman Fnac (Fnac Fiction Prize). She impressed the jury with the stirring subject matter—the emancipation of women—and the strength of her narrative in her first book, “Sa préférée”.
With the recognition they give this debut work, 400 Fnac members and the brand’s 400 bookstores are putting this emerging author in the spotlight — a sure way to inspire new talent.
