Fnac Darty Makes its Grand Debut at VivaTech

Join us at VivaTech and find out how Fnac Darty is placing AI at the heart of its transformation.

For the first time ever, Fnac Darty is making a special appearance at VivaTech, Europe’s biggest event dedicated to new technologies, which will be held in Paris from May 22 to 25, 2024 (Porte de Versailles).

This presence will feature a specially dedicated Fnac stand spanning 250 m 2 (Hall 2 n°R04) where companies, authorities and the general public can discover—with Fnac experts and thanks to the support of Fnac Darty’s manufacturing partners, Asus, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft and Samsung—the most disruptive technological innovations and products driven in particular by artificial intelligence.

With three spaces, this stand sports an area entirely dedicated to technology that gives pride of place to innovation, gaming and creation. To mark the occasion, immersive activities and demonstrations are planned to explore the uses of AI that are set to revolutionize European digital practices, in fields ranging from graphic creation to gaming or images. Within this space, the most innovative devices offered by Fnac Darty’s partners are also on display and available to try: smartphones, tablets, computers, virtual reality headsets, portable consoles and smart glasses.

A “bookstore” will also be available with a selection of more than 200 books on the main themes of the event: AI, CSR, resilient ecosystems, Internet and democracy, deeptech, future societies and more. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet and discuss with people working in the digital field and renowned authors, and have their works signed. A dozen authors will be present over these four days, including Michel Cymes (doctor, surgeon and television host), Harlan Coben (writer), Dr. Steven Laureys (neurologist, neuroscientist and author), Frédéric Mazzella (Founder of BlaBlaCar), Enrique Martinez (Chief Executive Officer of Fnac Darty), Fatie Toko (Director of Transformation and Data & AI Innovation at La Poste Group) Alexandre Mars (entrepreneur and philanthropist), Éric Larchevêque (entrepreneur and investor), Asma Mhalla (political commentator, specialist in geopolitical issues within tech), Delphine Remy-Boutang (entrepreneur and investor), Tatiana Jama (entrepreneur and investor), Thomas Solignac (speaker and artificial intelligence specialist). This space will be hosted throughout the event by Fnac’s tech-savvy booksellers.

Lastly, there will be a store housing the best in technology and editorial products, both those available now or only on pre-order, alongside a wide range of accessories (telephony, cables, chargers, etc.).
