Fnac Dijon, Secours Populaire and the Zénith de Dijon are organizing the fifteenth edition of the Fnac Solidarity Flea Market in Dijon on Sunday, June 4.
This popular and highly anticipated annual event aims to make entertainment accessible to all with discounted prices on many unsold cultural products: books, CDs, vinyls, DVDs, toys and video games.
All the proceeds from the event are donated to Secours Populaire to further the work they do to support the poorest members of society. In 2022, €137,349 was collected and redistributed, allowing disadvantaged families to benefit from more than 3,500 vacation days, as well as providing financial help and food.
With Dijon’s Solidarity Flea Market, Fnac Darty combines its commitment to the circular economy — by giving new life to products that have left the traditional retail cycle — with a solidarity-based approach to benefit society.
Every year, Dijon’s Solidarity Flea Market is able to run at full scale thanks to the commitment of three key stakeholders, coming together for this great solidarity event:
- Fnac dispatches thousands of entertainment products that have not been sold over the year from its national logistics center. It also supports on-site management through employee volunteering.
- Secours Populaire sorts and prepares the products, coordinates the event and mobilizes its volunteers.
- The Zénith de Dijon provides the venue for the event, as well as logistical support.
